Broken product addresses interrupted the path into the shop. I investigated the causes, prepared the corrections and verified the implementation with the customer’s developer.

In 90 days Google requested almost two million addresses, 84% of them dead. Real visitors landed on error pages.
I examined product pages and broken addresses, then prepared redirect rules and specific corrections for the developer.
Verified redirects lead to the intended product pages. For merged products, I also checked that the sizes were preserved.
Measurements and technical evidence
1,601 product pages read live, 1,232 redirect rules, a fix list with 16 points, reports for the owner and the developer.
The client’s developer implemented it. I verified live: 37 of 37 redirects, 37 of 37 size merges, 13 of 16 points confirmed.
138 numbers in the report re-checked, 0 wrong.
My contribution: technical analysis, correction specifications and verification. The customer’s developer implemented the changes.
